Quick Amsterdam (officially A.H.C. Quick) is the oldest baseball club in Europe, established on March 1st 1913. In the early period our basball players were national champions in 1922, 1925 and 1935. Nowdays Quick is a vibrant sports club with teams in baseball, ladies softball, mens softball and youth baseball. Our club is known for being welcoming for all members where having fun and playing fair games are very important.
Quick Amsterdam is the baseball and softball club for everyone, whether you’ve been practicing the sport for years or just want to start. Depending on your experience, motivation and time, there is always a team that suits you. Everyone plays to his or her ability and pleasure, so the teams are balanced and there is enough room for fun and competition.
Depending on their age, youth players are classified as BeeBall, Pupils (U12), Aspirants (U15) or Juniors (U21).
For adults there is a choice between baseball and softball, which can be entered at different levels.

In addition to a healthy drive to win matches, we are also on the field to learn. With each team you will also find a good dose of fun during the game, but especially afterwards with a snack and a drink.
The competition season runs from April to September. Each team usually trains once a week on a weekday evening and plays one game on average every week. During the winter training sessions take place in an indoor facility.
In addition to the regular competition, Quick regularly organizes fun activities. For example, there is our annual softball tournament: the Quick Summer Tournament! Teams from all over the country travel to Sportpark Sloten to enter into a two-day battle with each other in a pleasant way. Of course we will have a nice party afterwards in our clubhouse!
Activities such as team outings are also regularly organized and clinics are held to work on your skills.

The Quick Summer Tournament (QST) is organized every summer, where clubs from all over the country come to our sports park for a fun two-day tournament. Even people who have never played before are welcome to the tournament, which naturally fuels their enthusiasm.
